The Doublelaced Barnevelder is a Dutch chicken breed developed for both egg production and looks. They are well known for laying rich dark brown and often spotted eggs. Their noticeable beauty comes in the form of the feather’s lace, created by two black curved edges with the deep mahogany base shining through.
