Salmon Faverolles

The Faverolles is a versatile breed, well know for their meat quality, steady supply of eggs and friendliness often referred to as the “puppy dogs” of the chicken world. They are curious in nature as well as looks with their fluffy beards and muffs, feathered legs and unique five-toed foot. This quirky, inquisitive breed originated in France and come in a variety of colours but we love the Salmon for its soft tones. They will make an excellent addition to any backyard flock as they are completely accepting of others but you will need to watch that they are not bullied when introduced as they will be a very submissive newcomer.
